PUMPKIN SOUP 
2 c. canned pumpkin
1 med. onion, chopped
1 bay leaf
6 whole cloves
4 c. chicken broth
1 c. heavy cream
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. parsley, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Croutons

Simmer first four ingredients in chicken broth for 1/2 hour. Strain; season to taste. Stir in cream, parsley, Worcestershire sauce. Add croutons just before serving. Serves 4-6. Must be made 2 days in advance for flavor.
