QUICHE LORRAINE 
Unbaked Deep Dish Pie Shell
12 slices of bacon (about 1/2 lb), crisply fried and crumbled
1 cup shredded natural swiss cheese (about 4 ounces)
1/2 cup minced onion
4 eggs
2 cups Carnation evaporated milk
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp sugar
1/8 tsp ground cayenne red pepper (powder)

Heat oven to 425°F. Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pie shell. Beat eggs slightly, beat in remaining ingredients. Pour mixture into pie pan.

Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 300°F and bake 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.

Makes 6 meal size servings or 8 appetizer size servings. Left overs can be reheated in microwave.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
