CLAM CHOWDER 
1/2 lb. salt pork, cubed
3 c. water
2 sm. onions, minced
8 c. diced potatoes
2 c. corn
2 tbsp. salt
Pepper
2 qt. clams, minced
2 qt. hot milk
1/4 c. butter

Heat cooker. Slightly brown salt pork. Add vegetables, water, salt and pepper. Close cover securely and place pressure regulator on vent pipe. Cook 5 minutes. Let pressure drop of its own accord. Add clams and boil, without cover, for 2 minutes. (Additional cooking will toughen clams.) Add milk and butter.
