SUNDAY SUPPER CASSEROLE | |
1/4 c. Puritan oil 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/4 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 2 c. milk 1 tbsp. prepared mustard 1/4 lb. shredded cheese 5 or 6 weiners 3 c. sliced potatoes Combine oil and onions in large skillet. Cook until tender. Stir in flour and salt. Add milk; cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thick. Remove from heat. Stir in mustard and cheese. Cut weiners in 1/4 inch slices. Arrange alternate layers of potatoes, weiners, and cheese sauce in 2 quart casserole. Top with cheese sauce. Bake at 325 degrees, 1 1/4 hours. Serve hot. 6 servings. |
