MEXICAN WEDDING FINGERS | |
1 c. walnuts or pecans, chopped 2 c. flour 1/2 c. very fine sugar 1 c. butter 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. water Cream the butter and sugar. Add the flour, vanilla and water. Add the walnuts. Shape into crescents. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 10 minutes. Do not let brown except on edges. Roll carefully in confectioners' (4X) sugar when still slightly warm. Makes approximately 3 dozen. |
