BEAN - MUSHROOM MEDLEY 
8 oz. fresh green beans, cut into 1 inch pieces
2 fresh carrots, cut crosswise into halves then into 3/8 inch strips
1 med. onion, cut into 1/4 inch strips
8 oz. fresh mushrooms, cut into slices
1/4 c butter
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. MSG
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper

Heat 1 inch of water to boiling in 2 quart saucepan. Add beans and carrots, heat to boiling, then reduce heat, cover and simmer 12 minutes. Drain. In 10 inch skillet over medium heat, cook and stir onions and mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes, then reduce heat, cover and cook 3 additional minutes. Combine with skillet of onion and mushrooms the cooked beans and carrots, salt, MSG, garlic salt, salt and pepper. Cover and cook over medium heat 5 minutes. Makes 5 - 6 servings.
