MOM'S CRANBERRY SALAD
2 1/2 c. ground fresh cranberries (2-12 oz. pkgs.)
1 Johnathon or Winesap apple, cored
2 c. sugar
6 oz. orange Jello
2 c. boiling water
2 c. fruit juice (from blender and cranberries)
2 c. pecans
Sm. marshmallows

Wash cranberries. Fill blender 1/3 full of cranberries with enough water to cover them; chop by blending a few seconds, check size of pieces. Drain this very well, mashing cranberries to drain and catch the liquid to reuse to cover next batch of cranberries to be chopped. Do this until all cranberries and the apple are chopped. Stir sugar into drained fruit mixture and let set.

Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Add Jello and fruit juice (water from blender that cranberries were chopped in) to fruit mixture. Stir in pecans and pour into large, pretty serving bowl. Sprinkle with small marshmallows, push them down gently but not all the way down.

P.S. Don't skimp on pecans and be sure cranberries are drained good or Jello won't set right.
