THREE BEAN CASSEROLE
2 lg. onions, cut into rings
1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder (not garlic salt)
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1 (16 oz.) can dark red kidney beans, drained
1 (16 oz.) can New England baked beans, undrained
1 (16 oz.) can green lima beans, drained
1/2 to 1 lb. Hillshire beef sausage, sliced thin

Place onion rings, garlic powder, mustard, brown sugar, and vinegar in large skillet. Cover and cook 20 minutes over medium heat. Combine beans and sausage in 3-quart casserole. Stir in onion mixture. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Yield: 10 servings.

NOTE: The original recipe called for bacon instead of sausage and I'm not crazy about the red kidney beans, so alot of time I will use 2 cans of the other kind of beans and leave the kidney beans out.
