CHRISTMAS PICKLES 
1 qt. jar dill pickles strips
1 1/4 c. white sugar
1 med. onion, chopped fine
3 tbsp. vinegar, white
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tbsp. horseradish

Drain pickle strips, then put them back in jar. Add sugar, onion, vinegar, celery seed, and horseradish. Shake well now, and for several days. Keep refrigerated.
