CRANBERRY BANANA BREAD 
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2/3 c. mashed ripe banana
1 1/4 c. cranberries, chopped
1/2 c. chopped nuts

In medium bowl, blend butter with sugar. Add egg and beat until smooth. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Add to creamed mixture just until all flour is moistened. Fold in bananas, cranberries and nuts. Pour into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch pan and bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Cool in pan 10 minutes and remove from pan. Serve sliced the next day or freeze until needed.
