CHEESY SCALLOP POTATOES 
6 to 7 medium potatoes
1 large onion
1 jar Ragu double cheddar sauce
1 pkg. Kraft shredded cheese (Mexican)
seasoned salt
garlic powder

Wash and peel potatoes, slice to your likeness, but not too thin. Peel onion and slice ringlet style. Boil sliced potatoes until taut.

In a separate pot or pan, fry or boil onion. Mix together spices. I used an old salt shaker, half of each spice.

In a casserole dish butter or spray to avoid food sticking. Take a tablespoon spoon of sauce and spread on bottom. Begin layering potatoes, onion and spices, A little more cheese sauce, then a handful of cheese. Repeat till you get to the top, then add remaining sauce. You can add meat to your layering, ground beef is good.

Bake slow at at 300°F for 1 hour but take care since every stove is different.

This recipe has many variations, you can add different meats, sauces, cheeses, spices. Even throw in a veggie. Most importantly enjoy, thank you!
