3 c. cherries
4 c. Rice Chex
6 oz. peanuts or walnuts
1 c. pecans
1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Boil butter, sugar and Karo syrup for 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat; add vanilla and soda. Stir well and drizzle over cereal. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes to coat well. Pour onto waxed paper to cool. Store in an airtight container. Will keep for weeks.
