LEMON NUT SQUARES 
1 c. butter
2 c. flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
4 eggs
2 c. sugar
4 tbsp. flour
5 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. finely chopped pecans (add optionally to first 4 ingredients)

Blend first flour ingredients and press into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool 5 minutes. Beat together remaining ingredients and pour over pastry. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Remove from oven a while, warm, sprinkle with powdered sugar. When cool cut into squares.
