ITALIAN SAUSAGE SOUP 
1 lb. spicy Italian sausage, crumbled
1 onion, chopped
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, chopped
3 c. diced sweet potatoes or white potatoes
1 - 1 1/2 c. chopped carrots
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. oregano
Pepper
4 c. beef broth

In a large pan, cook sausage with onion; drain well. Stir in tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, lemon juice, basil, oregano, pepper and beef broth. Cook until potatoes and carrots are tender, about 20 minutes. Makes about 8 servings.
