ROMAN APPLE CAKE 
1 scant c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sour milk with 1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. sliced raw apples
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix all ingredients and put batter in a 9"x12" pan. Cover with:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. nuts
1 tsp. cinnamon

Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
