CANDIED NUTS 
2 1/2 c. raw peanuts or pecans
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix together in an iron skillet. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until liquid disappears (10 to 15 minutes). Spread out on cookie sheet.

Bake 20 minutes at 300°F.

You may add cinnamon to taste while cooking.
