MEXICAN WEDDING COOKIES 
Mix together thoroughly:

1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sifted confectioner's sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift together and stir in:

2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix in:

3/4 c. finely chopped pecans

Chill dough. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake until set but not brown. While still warm, roll cookies in confectioner's sugar. Cool and roll them in sugar again. Bake at 400 degrees for approximately 10 to 12 minutes. Yield: 4 1/2 dozen cookies.
