CRUNCHY OVEN FRENCH TOAST 
1 loaf French bread
3 eggs
1 c. half and half
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
4 c. corn flakes (crushed to 2 c.)
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cut French bread into 1 1/4 inch slices. Combine eggs and half and half, sugar, vanilla and salt in a bowl and mix well. Place corn flakes and cinnamon in a shallow dish.

Dip bread slices into egg mixture, then into bread crumbs. Place on a greased cookie sheet; cover and freeze for 1 to 2 hours, longer if desired.

When ready to serve, preheat oven to 425 degrees and bake for 15-20 minutes. Garnish with sliced strawberries, bananas, hot maple syrup and whipped cream or any of your favorites. Great for a brunch setting.
