DIVINITY CANDY 
1 c. cold water
1 c. sugar
3 egg whites
3 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water
1 c. white corn syrup

Stir 1 cup cold water and 1 cup sugar until dissolved. Cook until it hairs. While this is cooking, beat egg whites until dry. Beat the 2 together slowly until stiff. Then mix thoroughly 3 cups sugar, 1 cup boiling water and corn syrup. Put on heat and boil until it forms a hard ball in water. Beat this mixture into cold one. Beat until it begins to grain. Then beat in 1 cup chopped nuts. Pour into greased pan or I dip by teaspoon onto waxed paper.
