Cocoa Brownies

 Bill (New York) says:
All the rave reviews encouraged me to bake these during a blizzard. I used Hersheys new extra dark cocoa, thought it would provide extra depth and spooned out what I thought were heaping tablespoon. Checked my oven temp, and baked for the recommended 25 minutes. The result was just okay. Rather dense cake like brownies. Nothing chewy about them. I might try this recipe again, but it won't be my first choice for a brownie recipe.
The only compensation is that think I'll be finishing the whole tray.

This is the best brownie recipe I have found so far! They are easy to make and taste amazing. The heaping spoons of cocoa are a must! I have made several batches already, and have no urge to find another brownie recipe, finally.

These are simply the BEST brownies ever! A nurse used to make these for us in the ER and I have lost the recipe over the years...all I could remember was "2 sticks butter, 2 c. sugar, and 4 eggs." SO glad to find it here, am getting ready to make them now!
