CHICKEN CASSEROLE | |
1 chicken, boiled & boned into bite sized pieces 1 c. broth 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 stick butter 1 pkg. Waverly Wafers (inside box package) Boil and debone chicken. Melt 1 stick butter in 9"x12" Pyrex pan in 350 degree oven. Mash Waverly Wafers finely and pour on top of melted butter. Stir and pat down for bottom crust. Lay chicken pieces on top of crust. Sprinkle with black pepper. Mix 1 cup broth, sour cream and cream of chicken soup to make sauce. Pour over top of chicken and sprinkle with paprika. Cook about 40 minutes or until done. |
