NIGHT BEFORE BREAKFAST | |
8 slices bread 1 lb. ham, bacon, sausage, or desired meat 1 lb. shredded cheese of your choice 8 eggs 2 3/4 c. milk 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. onion salt 4 tbsp. melted butter Lightly grease a 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Line bottom with bread chunks, then meat and cover with cheese. Mix eggs, milk and spices and slowly pour on top. Spoon melted butter evenly over top of everything. Cover and refrigerate overnight or during the day for an easy dinner. Take out and let stand at room temperature 1 hour before baking. Bake covered at 325 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes, uncover and bake 15 to 20 minutes longer. |
