TURRONES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. honey
5 egg whites
1 c. blanched and toasted almonds (pulverized in blender)
1 c. toasted hazelnuts (pulverized in blender)

Put sugar and honey in a pan over low heat and cook until it starts to thicken. Beat egg whites until stiff; blend with the nuts and add to the mixture in the pan. Stir in constantly until thick. Remove from fire and pour into square pans lined with waxed paper. When cool, break or cut into pieces.
