DUMP CAKE 
1 (20 oz.) can chunk pineapple or peaches
1 (8 oz.) bag shredded coconut
1 yellow cake mix
1/2 lb. butter

Grease a 9x13 inch cake pan. Dump fruit and its juice in pan, spread coconut over the top evenly. Spread cake mix over coconut. Smooth with a spatula. Cover the entire surface with the butter, cut into thin squares. (DO NOT MIX!) Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes. Top with whipped cream or ice cream.
