WAVERLY WAFERS 
1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. pecans, chopped
Waverly wafers

Boil butter and sugar for 2 minutes. Cool 15 minutes. Cover bottom of jelly roll pan with layer of wafers, side by side to fill pan. Spread cooled liquid mixture over crackers. Sprinkle chopped pecans over top. Bake in 325 degree oven for 15 minutes, cool. Break crackers apart, store between wax paper in tightly sealed container.
