BUTTERFINGER COOKIES 
1 1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter
1 egg
3/4 c. granulated sugar
2 reg. size candy bars or 6 sm.

Cut butterfinger candy bars in small pieces. Cream shortening and sugar together. Beat in egg. Sift dry ingredients. Sprinkle over small pieces of candy bars and combine with wet mixture. Chill. Drop by 1/2 teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Remove from sheet immediately.
