ANGEL BISCUITS 
1 pkg. dry yeast dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
3/4 c. shortening
5 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. buttermilk
3 tbsp. sugar

Mix dry ingredients together and cut in shortening. After yeast is dissolved, mix with buttermilk and add to dry ingredient mixture. Take out what you need and roll in flour. Cut and bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
