VEGETABLES MARINARA 
Fresh green beans
Fresh spinach
Fresh asparagus
Lima beans

Place your favorite vegetables in 2-quart saucepan with 1 cup marinara sauce, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 garlic clove (smashed and chopped), 1 green onion (chopped), and 1 stalk celery (chopped). Cook (simmer) 30 minutes or until tender.

MARINARA SAUCE:

2 lbs. fresh tomatoes
1 can tomatoes
1 sm. onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 garlic cloves, mashed and chopped
3 bay leaves
1/2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. olive oil

Roast fresh tomatoes in a pan in oven at 400 degrees until soft. Place tomatoes with canned tomatoes in blender and blend. Place tomato mixture in a 3-4 quart saucepan and add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 1-2 hours.
