VEGETABLE SOUP 
1 lb. cubed beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
3 qts. water
2 cans tomatoes
1 can mixed vegetables
1 can tomatoes, okra, corn mixture
Salt & pepper to taste

Cook beef in water with salt, pepper and onions over medium heat until meat is tender. Add remaining ingredients and reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours. Serve with cornbread.
