REAL GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
8-10 med. potatoes
6-8 slices bacon
2 med. onions, sliced fine
1/2 c. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
Flour for gravy mix

Boil potatoes; cool, peel and slice. Mix onion with potatoes. Dice bacon and fry until crisp. Add vinegar to bacon. Then add sugar, salt and pepper (taste for the sweet 'n sour taste). Mix some flour with water for "gravy" and add gradually to bacon mixture. Make "sauce" so it is slightly thickened. Pour sauce over potatoes and onions and mix. Sprinkle ground black pepper over all. Heat in microwave oven.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
