COUNTRY PIE 
CRUST:

1/2 (8 oz.) can tomatoes
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. chopped onions
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano
1 lb. ground beef

FILLING:

1 1/3 c. Minute Rice
1 c. water
1 1/2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine crust ingredients. Mix well. Pat into bottom of 9" greased fluted edge pie plate. Combine filling ingredients reserving 1/2 cup cheese. Spoon into meat crust. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle reserved 1/2 cup cheese over top. Return to oven. Bake, uncovered 10 to 15 minutes. Cut in pie shaped pieces to serve. Serves 6.
