GROUND BEEF AND NOODLE CASSEROLE | |
1 (8 oz.) pkg. med. noodles 1 lb. ground beef 1 tbsp. oil 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 1 tsp. salt 1 c. tomato sauce 1 c. creamed cottage cheese 1 c. sour cream 1 c. green onions 1 c. sharp cheese Cook noodles and drain. Brown meat in oil. Add salt, pepper and garlic salt. stir, then add tomato sauce. Simmer about 10 minutes. If it starts to get dry add a little water. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, onions and noodles. In casserole dish, alternate layers of noodles and meat. Start with noodles and end with meat. To with sharp cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. |
