CHEESE `N CRESCENT PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4-1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 pkg. spaghetti or taco seasoning mix
6 oz. can tomato paste
3/4 c. water
8 oz. can Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
4 slices mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Brown beef and pepper; then drain. Add seasoning mix, tomato paste and water. Simmer for 10 minutes. Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles. Place in ungreased 8 or 9 inch pie pan. Press over bottom and up sides to form crust.

Sprinkle 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese over crust. Spoon 1/2 of hot meat mixture on crust. Top with 2 slices mozzarella cheese. Spoon remaining meat mixture over cheese and top with remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese. Bake 15-20 minutes. Put mozzarella slices on baked dish when removed from oven. Serves 5-6 people.
