TACO DIP 
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. sour cream
1 1/2 c. picante sauce
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Nacho or taco chips to dip with

Put cream cheese into microwave dish or 2 cups measuring dish. Cut it in half. Microwave on low power for 2 minutes to soften cheese. Stir cheese. Add sour cream. Mix well. Divide creamed mixture into 2 parts, put each part on a plate. Spread in circle, top with the picante sauce then spread shredded Cheddar on top.

Surround with chips and serve. Refrigerate second plate until needed. Do not put chips on the second plate until ready to serve.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
