HEARTY FISH CHOWDER | |
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 2 bay leaves 1/2 tsp. garlic powder or 2 or 3 cloves fresh Dash of cayenne powder 1 (16 oz.) bag frozen mixed vegetables or fresh (such as celery, carrots, onions) 1 (16 oz.) pkg. any fish fillets, cut into chunks Combine tomato sauce and seasonings. Add vegetables; simmer 1/2 hour. Add fish and simmer another 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily. Remove bay leaves before serving. Tastes better the next day. |
