OVEN FISH CHOWDER (VICKY LYONS) 
2 lbs. Haddock, fresh or frozen
4 potatoes, peeled & sliced
3 celery leaves, chopped
1 bay leaf
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1 clove garlic, crushed
3 sm. onions, sliced
1/2 c. butter
1/4 tsp. white pepper
2 c. boiling water
2 c. light cream
1/2 c. dry white wine

Put all ingredients except cream into a large casserole dish and cover. Bake for 1 hour at 375 degrees. Heat cream to scalding and add to casserole dish. Stir to break up fish if you used frozen fish. Serves 6. Recipe can be cut in half for 2 to 3 people.
