DIVINITY FUDGE 
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. cold water
2 egg whites, beaten stiff
1 tsp. vanilla
Nut meats (opt.)

Place sugar, syrup and water in pan over low fire. Stir only until sugar is dissolved then cook until a little forms a soft ball in cold water. Then pour half over beaten egg whites, continue beating while cooking rest of syrup until it forms a hard crack when hit on side of pan. Add gradually to the rest of mixture. Add vanilla and heat until thick enough to drop from spoon onto wax paper.
