1 lb. ground beef
2 cans string beans, drained
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 sm. onion, chopped
4 to 6 c. mashed potatoes
1 c. grated cheddar cheese

Brown meat and onion. Add string beans, tomato sauce, and mix well and pour into a casserole. Spread the mashed potatoes on top and cover evenly to the edge of the casserole. Top with grated cheese. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until filling is hot and cheese is browned.
