SHRIMP BOAT STEW | |
6 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. flour 1 1/2 lbs. peeled raw shrimp Salt & pepper to taste Melt butter in pan. Add flour and stir well. Allow this to begin to brown and add 3 cups water. Simmer for several minutes, adding more water if gravy is too thick. Add raw shrimp and allow to simmer for a few minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. VARIATIONS: Add broccoli, asparagus pieces or other fresh vegetables after adding water. This can also be served over rice. |
