HARVARD BEETS 
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 (no. 303) can diced beets, drained

Melt butter. Add cornstarch, sugar, salt, ginger, blend well. Add vinegar and liquid from beets. Cook until thick. Add beets and heat thoroughly.
