U.S.A. SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN 
Country biscuits
Salad oil
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. pepper
All-purpose flour
Salt
1 (3 1/2 lb.) broiler fryer, cut up
1/2 c. half & half
1 tsp. chicken flavor instant bouillon

About 2 1/2 hours before serving: Prepare country biscuits. In 12 inch skillet over medium heat, heat 1/2 inch salad oil to 350 degrees on deep fat thermometer (or heat oil in electric skillet set at 350 degrees). Meanwhile into pie plate, combine pepper, 1 cup flour, and 1 teaspoon salt. Dip chicken pieces in milk, then coat well with flour mixture. Repeat, coating chicken twice. Carefully place half of chicken pieces, skin side up, in hot oil. Cook about 5 minutes until under side of chicken is golden. Reduce heat to low and cook 5 minutes.
