OLD FASHIONED WHITE FUDGE | |
3 c. granulated sugar 2 tbsp. butter 1/4 c. white Karo syrup Pinch salt 1 c. half and half 1/2 c. milk Cook slowly (medium high then to medium) until boiling and then on low heat until testing (drop from spoon into cold water in a cup to test) to a medium soft ball stage. Add nuts if desired. Requires beating with spoon. Then pour out onto buttered platter. Makes a small batch, but GOOD! |
