PIG IN A POT 
4 lb. jumbo beef dinner franks
3 (1 lb.) pkg. bacon
2 (1 lb.) boxes dark brown sugar
40 round toothpicks

Cut each beef frank into 4 equal parts (all 4 packages should yield 40 sections). Cut bacon strips in half. Wrap each frank section with a bacon strip. Secure with toothpick. Place a layer of wrapped franks in bottom of crock pot. Cover with brown sugar. Repeat until all franks are in crock pot. Cover the last layer of franks with about 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Put the top on the crock pot and cook on high for 4 hours. Do not open or stir during this time. After 4 hours, open top and stir well. Turn the crock pot down to low/warm and keep covered until ready to serve. Yields 128 appetizers.
