CONGEALED SALAD 
2 boxes orange Jello
1 can crushed pineapple, drain, save juice
1 c. chopped pecans
1 sm. Cool Whip
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 eggs

Mix Jello according to directions. Allow to almost congeal, add some nuts and pineapple. Return to refrigerate to finish congealing. Mix Cool Whip and cream cheese together thoroughly. When Jello is hard enough, spread this mixture on top and return to refrigerator.

In heavy saucepan add: 3/4 c. sugar 2 tbsp. flour 2 eggs, beaten

Cook over slow heat, stirring all the time until thick. Chill before spreading over salad. Add nuts.
