CREAMED ONIONS & PEAS 
1 bag (16 oz.) frozen small whole onions
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen peas
1 env. (1 1/4 oz.) cheese sauce mix
1 c. milk
2 tsp. dry sherry (optional)
2 tbsp. toasted almonds, slivered

Bring 1 cup salted water to a boil. Add onions and bring to a boil once again. Add peas and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes. Drain. Combine sauce mix, milk and sherry in small bowl. Pour over vegetables and cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens. Spoon into serving dish and sprinkle with almonds. Serves 8.
