CREAMED PEAS AND ONIONS 
3 c. peas, frozen or fresh
2 c. pearl onions
2 c. milk
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. butter
Salt and pepper to taste

Place onions in a saucepan, cover with water and cook until they are transparent. Add peas and bring back to a boil.

Scald milk. Combine cornstarch with 1/2 cup milk and stir into scalded milk, add butter and simmer, stirring continuously until thickened. Add salt and pepper. Combine with peas and onions and serve.
