CARAMEL CORN 
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light. Karo syrup
2 sticks butter
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
7 qts. popcorn; popped

Boil first 5 ingredients for 5 minutes. Add 1 teaspoon baking soda. Stir and pour over popcorn. Bake at 200 degrees for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes. Cool and serve. May add 1 20 oz. bag salted peanuts before baking.
