CRANBERRY-AVOCADO SALAD 
Cranberry and avocado flavors blend together like old friends.

2 medium-sized avocados
salt
lemon juice
3/4 cup orange sections, cut in halves
balls or cubes cut from jellied cranberry sauce (about 1 cup)
French Dressing (your choice)
lettuce or watercress

Cut the avocados in halves lengthwise, remove the stone, then peel. Sprinkle with salt and lemon juice to prevent darkening and add to flavor.

Mix orange pieces, cranberry sauce balls or cubes together and pile into the avocado halves, placed on beds of lettuce or watercress on individual salad plates. Pour French Dressing over all just before serving.

Serves 4.
