DROP GINGER SNAP COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening
2 eggs
4 c. flour (or more)
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. molasses
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 scant teaspoon salt

Cream sugar and shortening, add eggs, spices, salt, molasses and vinegar. Stir well. Sift soda and flour. Mix. Will be stiff. Form into balls and bake in a 350 degree oven.
