DANISH APPLE CAKE 
3 c. applesauce

Saute gently until evenly browned

2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
3/4 c. butter

Line bottom of deep 9 inch pie pan with crumbs. Spread 1/3 of sauce over crumbs. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Add 2 more alternate layers, sauce and cinnamon sprinkled crumbs (crumbs on top).

Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve hot or cold with whipped cream garnished with bits of jelly.
